Prayer Ministries

Prayer Ministries

Early Morning Prayer Team
Meets weekly on Tuesday, 6:00-7:00 AM, in Room 118 (K-Chapel). A quiet time of meditation, a time of song, worship, communion, and a time of small circle of prayer is included.

Prayer Teams
A dedicated group who are in daily intercession before the Lord. They are given the prayer requests of the congregation and follow-up with a phone call or “prayergram” or personal note. (All requests are recorded as they are assigned to a member of the Prayer Team, so that the answered prayers and praise notes can be matched at a later time.)

Prayer Chain
A network allowing the congregation to pray for urgent needs or emergencies.
Call 943-1800 to activate the Prayer Chain.

Special Days of Prayer
24-hour vigils and other allocated hours of prayer and fasting. Done at church and/or home.

Men’s Prayer
Men meet each Sunday morning, 6:30 AM, Auditorium – This exciting ministry consists of praying with other prayer partners on Sunday morning in the Auditorium. Commit to pray for the pastoral staff and the ministry of this church on a consistent and regular basis and be open to personal prayer ministry in your life. This is a wonderful experience of praying together with other men for God's church.

Small Groups
Groups are small in-home prayer, study, and fellowship groups led by Shepherds. While they are not a part of the “formal” Prayer Ministries structure, they work closely with them – serving on the prayer chain, as well as, ministering to those who share prayer requests in their small group meetings.

Prayer Table
Located in the Grand Foyer every four to six weeks with prayer resources at no cost.

Prayer for Government Leaders and Law Enforcement

Intercession Prayer Team

National Day of Prayer
The first Thursday of each May is designated as a day set aside to pray for our nation and all that concerns our country. This is a city-wide event.
