Questions and Answers...
What is a Developmental or Non-Competitive Sports League?
In every league... there will be competition. That's part of what makes the league fun! But there is a major difference between adult sports and youth sports. Adult sports are geared toward winning, and the outcome is the primary motivation. Youth sports should be geared toward learning and developing, not winning. How does this happen? By de-emphasizing the score. By spending more time teaching kids, than talking about beating the other team or winning. By focusing as much when a child learns a new skill, as when they score a point! Winning and losing are part of life. Kids must learn how to cope with the outcome, but our emphasis is much more on the process than the conclusion!

One of our philosophies is that God can be a part of everything we do, and that includes sports! We don't believe that sports and God should be separated, but that God can and desires to meet us right where we are... including the field or court!
